Expertise

Steve is Managing Director of Fenland Hydrotech, and has overall responsibility for the technical and commercial activities of the company.

Within his own discipline of water engineering, his particular skills include clean and dirty water treatment, sewerage, water distribution and pumping systems. He acts as Engineer to the Contract in the majority of Fenland's projects and is responsible for process design of clean and dirty water projects.

He has worked on a wide range of water supply, sewerage, infrastructure, irrigation and civil engineering projects in the UK, Middle East and Africa. He has been engaged as expert witness in water supply and drainage disputes.

 

Experience

1970-71 Ward, Ashcroft & Parkman (now Parkman Group) Graduate Engineer, working on design of sewerage and sewage treatment schemes.
1991-76 Mouchel Resident Engineer on rural sewerage and sewage treatment projects.
1976-78 Sir M. MacDonald & Partners (now Mott MacDonald) Design of water treatment schemes for Saudi Arabia, Oman and Ireland.
1978-80 Sir M. MacDonald & Partners (now Mott MacDonald) Supervision and administration of Rahad Irrigation Project and infrastructure development, Sudan
1980-81 Sir M. MacDonald & Partners (now Mott MacDonald) Design of water treatment and drainage schemes
1981-85 Sogreah Resident Engineer, Kirkuk Irrigation Project, Iraq. £100m pumping station project.
1985-date Fenland Hydrotech Water supply, drainage, water treatment and pumping projects.
